The best part of Lorin’s job is when employees stop to say they’re thankful she helped them join nVent.

Lorin is a talent acquisition manager for nVent, which means she leads the team that finds and recruits candidates for the diverse array of positions required by the company. She also provides guidance, such as interviewing tips, for hiring managers at nVent’s various locations.

“Selling the company to job prospects isn’t hard,” she said. She speaks from her own experience in explaining the benefits of working at nVent.

“I felt valued as an individual from the first day,” remembered Lorin, who joined the company full time eight years ago. “It didn’t matter that I didn’t have that much experience. My work spoke for itself, and I got more opportunities.”

As the mother of two young children, Lorin also appreciates the flexibility that comes with working at nVent.

“I’ve been able to be present as a mom, to work remotely, and leave work early when necessary.”
