Liz’s experience at nVent speaks to the vibrant culture and opportunities that define our culture. Working for our Electrical Connections business segment in Brooksville, Florida as a customer service representative, she is committed to efficiency and productivity, both for customers and internal teams.
“A typical day in my role is all about keeping things running smoothly—handling requests, solving problems, and making sure our clients get the right support quickly,” she explains. Liz serves as a vital bridge between customer service and operations, ensuring processes remain efficient and organized. What stands out most to her is the teamwork and trust that permeates the work environment. “Every day brings something new, and there’s always a sense that we’re all working toward the same goal—supporting our customers and each other.”
Liz also brings our teammates together to support our Veterans employee resource group. Her leadership as the communications director has enabled her to find another meaningful connection to others at nVent. “It’s given me the chance to combine creativity and purpose—writing our weekly newsletters, spotlighting veteran stories, and helping strengthen the sense of connection across our company,” she says. Participating in initiatives like the 9/11 meal pack volunteer event has reinforced her appreciation for nVent’s culture. “We don’t just talk about supporting our communities, we actually show up and do it.”
While she hasn’t served in the military herself, her connection to a patriotic family and her grandfather’s service in both world wars has instilled in her a deep respect for those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice. Liz notes that she is inspired by the values of discipline, teamwork, and reliability that many of the veterans she partners with uphold. She strives to bring her professional life daily.
